Planned Functionality

Users may want to create budgets for their small business (I know I do!) or a budget they can share with family, significant others, or friends. Each budget will have its own separate accounts, expenses, transactions and spending categories.

Users live across the globe and use a multitude of currencies, some users may even regularly use multiple currencies at times, or for the same transaction. We should support multiple currencies so BudgetBloom is accessible to everyone.

Users want transactions that are imported via Account Sync to be categorized with the appropriate spending category, especially any custom spending categories they've created. A rules engine for categorization of transactions will allow users to create fully customized budgets that align with their opinions of which spending categories best fit with their individual spending habits.
